The city of Xianyang is located somewhere close to the heart of the Xi’an in the Shannxi Province. The city is known for much of its historic appeal and significance. An example of this history includes an event during the Qin Dynasty’s rule which is the first Chinese feudal dynasty sowed the seeds of its history which is impressive, and made it the capital city. It has since then served 13 dynasties and consequently has 27 tombs and hundreds of Imperial household members’ graves. Xianyang’s northern part is located on the Loess Plateau and the South is situated on Weihe Plain. From north to the south, the terrain gradually falls away into a beautiful expansion.

Some of the city’s point of interest include the Qian Mausoleum, the Great Buddha temple, the Zhaoling Mausoleum, Tomb of Crown Prince Yide, the Xianyang Museum, Tomb of Princess Yongtai, tomb of Huo Qubing, Tomb of Crown Prince Zhanghuai and the Maoling Mausoleum.
